Knowledge & Wisdom of Sulaiman The King Prophet.

Prophet Dawood (Peace be upon him) was the King of his people.
He had 19 sons, each one of them hoped to inherit the father's throne.
Allah revealed to Prophet Dawood a few questions and their answers
 and commanded him to put those questions to each one of his sons.
 Whosoever answered those questions correctly, would inherit his throne.

One day Prophet Dawood (Peace be upon him) called all his sons in
the presence of the scholars and the chiefs of the tribes of his kingdom.
He then put forward the following questions:

1) Which thing is closest (nearest) to man?

2) Which is the farthest thing?

3) Which two things are attached to each other?

4) Which is the most awe-creating thing?

5, Which two things remain unchanged?

6) Which two things are always different?

7) Which two things are opposed to each other?

8) What is the action the result of which is good?

9) What is that action the result of which is bad?

The first 18 sons of Prophet Dawood (Peace be upon him)felt helpless and
could not answer any of these questions.
Then the youngest of the sons,
Prophet Sulaiman (Peace be upon him) stood up and
gave the following answers:

1) The nearest things to a man is the hereafter
(Life and Death - as one may die any moment);

2) The farthest things is the time which has passed away
(which is not to come again);

3) The two things that are attached to each other
is man's body with the soul;

4) The most awe-creating is the man's body (dead)
without soul;

5) The two things which remain the same are the sky and the earth;

6) The two things which are different are the day and night;

7)The two things which are opposed to each other are life and death;

8)The action - the end of which is good - is patience
and forbearance at the time of anger;

9)The action - the end of which is bad is haste at the time of anger.

Prophet Dawood (Peace be upon him) obviously, was very much impressed
with his knowledge and appointed Prophet Sulaiman (Peace be upon him)
as his successor.

Thus it will be seen that it was the supreme knowledge and wisdom
that made Prophet Sulaiman (Peace be upon him)
 succeed his father and become the Great King Prophet.

Inspiring Story : Never Give up in Life..

 A man woke up early in order to pray the Fajr (Morning) prayer
in the Masjid (Mosque). He got dressed, made his Wudhu (ablution)
and was on his way to the Masjid.

On his way to the Masjid, the man fell and his clothes got dirty.
He got up, brushed himself off, and headed home. At home,
he changed his clothes, made his ablution, and was, again,
on his way to the Masjid. On his way to the Masjid, he fell again
and at the same spot! He, again, got up, brushed himself off
and headed home. At home he, once again, changed his clothes,
made his ablution and was on his way to the Masjid.

On his way to the Masjid, he met a man holding a lamp.
He asked the man of his identity and the man replied "
I saw you fall twice on your way to the Masjid, so I brought a lamp
so I can light your way." The first man thanked him profoundly
 and the two were on their way to the Masjid.

Once at the Masjid, the first man asked the man with the lamp
to come in and pray Fajr with him. The second man refused.
The first man asked him a couple more times and, again,
the answer was the same.
The first man asked him why he did not wish to come in and pray.

The man replied "I am Shaitan (Devil)." The man was shocked at this reply.
Shaitan (Devil) went on to explain, "I saw you on your way to
the Masjid and it was I who made you fall. When you went home,
cleaned yourself and went back on your way to the Masjid,

Allah forgave all of your sins. I made you fall a second time, and
even that did not encourage you to stay home, but rather,
you went back on your way to the Masjid. Because of that,
Allah forgave all the sins of the people of your household.

I was afraid if I made you fall one more time, then Allah will forgive
the sins of the people of your village, so I made sure that
you reached the Masjid safely."

  Conclusion: So do not let Shaitan (Devil) benefit from his actions.
 Do not put off a good that you intended to do as you
never know how much reward you might receive from the hardships
 you encounter while trying to achieve that good.

often (Shaitan) Devil In many religions, the major personified spirit of evil,

Hadith:Follow the Right Path of Faith strictly

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (RadhiAllaho anho) narrates
that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:
"Follow the Right Path of Faith strictly,
and be steadfast;
and keep in mind that none of you can achieve salvation
through his (good) actions.''
Someone asked, "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?''
He (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said,
"Not even me, unless Allah grants me His Mercy and Grace".
[Muslim].
Commentary:
This Hadith tells us that although the importance of Faith and its practice
is beyond any shadow of doubt, because this is the only way to attain
His Favours and Blessings, but one should not entirely depend upon practice
only because any shortcoming (which one does not even know) can ruin a good deed.
It is, therefore, essential that we also pray that our good deeds are accepted
by ALLAH, Subhanahu wa ta'ala, and that He grants us His Infinite Mercy
and sincerity because even the greatest noble deed is invalid without it.
